For valuable items arriving to and from Dubai – and for when cargo must be rescreened or stored - Transguard’s state of the art VAL facility will ensure your precious goods are always in safe hands. Dubai Police and Dubai Customs are also present within the facility to ensure a smooth safe journey hosted within a centralised secure environment. We also offer secure storage vaults to give you peace of mind when transporting your high-value items.

As a rule, all VAL cargo is handled in either our distinctive red reinforced XYP boxes, or in secure metal-doored AKE containers, specifically used for the carriage of precious cargo. All units are sealed with a numbered, tamper-proof metal seal, which is checked periodically throughout the journey to ensure the number and condition of the seal have not been compromised. For VAL cargo that will not fit in our closed door AKE's, pending Standards and Procedures, and Emirates Group Security assessments, additional protocols can be worked on, such as tamper-proof tape, additional security guards and direct delivery to the aircraft.  

All valuable items travelling to, from and through Dubai will be handled by Emirates Group Security – Transguard. Whether your Emirates Valuable shipment requires Quick Ramp Transfer (QRT) or storage and additional security checks, Transguard will be with the shipment every step of the way ensuring full protection throughout. All out stations have agreed security and handling processes and contracted parties, to ensure the same level of service available in Dubai, is available network-wide.
