Emirates SkyCargo appoints David Harman as new Cargo Manager Switzerland

ZURICH/DUBAI, 23 May 2018 – Emirates SkyCargo has appointed David Harman to the key position of Cargo Manager for Switzerland. Based in Zurich, Harman will be responsible for overseeing all operational and commercial aspects for the freight division of Emirates in the country. With over 30 years of international aviation and cargo experience, David Harman brings valuable knowledge and skills to his new role. He has previously worked as Vice President for dnata Ground and Cargo Handling in Zurich and held various positions through the years at CHEP Aerospace Solutions Ltd, Unitpool AG, Swissport International Ltd. and Swiss Worldcargo. He succeeds Nathalie Picaud, who has taken over responsibility for Pharma Sales in Europe for Emirates SkyCargo.

Switzerland plays an important role for Emirates SkyCargo. Two daily passenger flights from both Zurich and Geneva transport belly-hold cargo on board Emirates’ Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. Emirates SkyCargo is the largest international cargo airline worldwide with a network that covers 159 destinations in 85 countries and territories, among them 15 cargo-only destinations. The air cargo carrier operates a modern fleet of over 265 aircraft including 14 freighters - 13 Boeing 777-Fs and one Boeing 747 F. Together with the belly-hold cargo, Emirates has transported a total of 2.5 million tonnes of freight in the calendar year 2017.
