Emirates SkyPharma is our purpose-built facility dedicated exclusively for the handling of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical shipments. It is the world's first and largest multi-airport hub facility GDP-certified by Bureau Veritas.

With operations at Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) linked by a dedicated 24/7 bonded and refrigerated trucking service, Emirates SkyPharma offers over 8,800m2 of temperature-controlled space, dedicated to pharmaceutical shipments.
The facility offers two separate zones for different temperature ranges, 372 cool cells, 88 temperature-controlled automated ULD handling positions, and 12 temperature-controlled acceptance and delivery truck docks.

Emirates SkyPharma has been certified by Bureau Veritas under the EU Good Distribution Practice guidelines (GDP) on medicinal products for human use. This makes it the world's first and largest multi-airport hub to become GDP-compliant. Our certification is testament to the strict guidelines we adhere to throughout the shipment journey. Your pharmaceutical products are in safe hands.

Different pharmaceutical products need to be stored in appropriate temperature ranges. To make sure your pharmaceutical cargo remains in a stable environment at all times, we've configured two discrete temperature zones within our Emirates SkyPharma facility: 2-8°C (COL) and 15-25°C (CRT).

At SkyPharma, we're invested in continuously improving our infrastructure and processes to ensure the proactive management of all cool chain container types. With a dedicated area for active container battery management, processes to fulfil dry ice replenishment and container plug in points we are able to ensure the highest level of temperature control handling for your sensitive items.
Integrated security & customs
Integrated security & customs
Our Emirates SkyPharma hub offers integrated police, customs and screening facilities within our temperature-controlled zones. This means that shipments are in a stable environment for the entire time they are transiting or being held for collection or delivery. With the pharmaceutical industry being highly regulated, having Municipality and Government officials on-site around-the-clock for inspections and document clearance, allows for the smooth, seamless, and expedited transit of cargo.
