Emirates' 197-strong fleet is one of the youngest in the skies. Emirates SkyCargo's fleet includes ten freighters (two Boeing 747-400ERF and eight 777Fs) that now serves 132 destinations in 77 countries on six continents.
In the 2010-11 financial year, Emirates SkyCargo carried 1.8 million tonnes of cargo, an improvement of 11.8 percent over the year's previous 1.7 million tonnes. Cargo revenue, at AED 8.8 billion (US$ 2.4 billion), including mail and courier, contributed 17.4 percent of the airline's total transport revenue.
In March 2013 Emirates SkyCargo took delivery of its eighth Boeing 777F. Scheduled freighters now operate to 43 destinations. Over the next few years, the airline will welcome 197 aircraft to its fleet, including five Boeing 777Fs and 64 Boeing -777-300ER. The total value of aircraft now on its order books is US $71 billion.
